There is an acronym related to computer folks, perhaps you’ve heard it: Completely Outrageously Motivated People Using The Equipment Right. As an eight day newbie, I found it ingenious to use the opacity tool to adjust the layer for erasing the frame from the subject. Using the layer mask to protect the original image was also something I haven’t work with before. This tutorial added two powerful new tools to my GIMP tool box, thanks for sharing your experience!

I really enjoyed the step by step instructions that were provided for the 3D pictures. I became so frustrated with trying to manuever through the steps on the GIMP tutorials that I was about to just give up on attempting to complete, but these instructions definitely made it alot easier. Thank You.

The step by step instructions were very useful, exept when you colored the frame around the dog black ,which made him come forward this I could not follow please tell me if I use another color rather than black will this also do the same thing and how did you manage to put a background around the dog.

Actually I was disappointed by episode 3. It just wasn’t as high a standard as the first two episodes. Even microsoft paint can be used to create an image just like this. (and no, I’m not exaggerating)

your instructions were great, but how do you add the backround at the end?
